Hinoki cypress is a traditional Japanese tree.

We recycled wood shaving scraps from hinoki product manufacturing to create bath ribbons that lock in their fragrance.
The beautiful wood grain and soothing aroma. We rejuvenated waste materials that would have been simply incinerated.

This concept and idea won the 2016 Good Design Award and the 2021 OMOTENASHI Selection Gold Award.
